1. WHAT? No Dow v Jane Doe, Part 5 ?? (Lo siento mucho) :)

2. How about an initiative, to redefine Seattle and Urban King County as part of California? We're not expelling Seattle, just amending the statutes.

3. Re NY-23 "This is just a taste of things to come in 2010." What losing seats that had been Republican for over 100 years?

"Closer to home, further proof that liberalism is indeed a mental disorder as voters handily elected Chairman Dow "the Mao" Constantine"
Right, had nothing to do with the fact that conservatives lent their support to a know nothing no experienced celebrity candidate.

"..no to 1033."
Yes, the liberal bastions of Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, Lincoln, Spokane, Yakima, Whittman... killed I-1033. I-1033 losing the majority of the counties in the state had nothing to do with the initiative being bad and its front man being a Horses A**. Nope, it wasn't us, it was those darn liberals.

5. What @3 said. When Yakima, Adams, and Lincoln County all vote against I-1033, that's pretty telling.

6. "WHAT? No Dow v Jane Doe, Part 5 ?? (Lo siento mucho) "

That episode will come in the future when Date Rape Dow goes ass grabby. Just like Clinton's long lecherous history, Dow will be true to his nature.

7. Mark, it really is odd for you to mock Seattle by saying we'd like to "outlaw free elections" while also mocking the outcome of our free elections. Democracy also happens when you disagree with the outcome, don't forgot.

8. @3: "A know nothing, no experience, celebrity candidate". You mean like Obama?

9. @ #3 "What losing seats that had been Republican for over 100 years?"

Try since 1993.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York%27s_23rd_congressional_district)

Doesn't anyone fact check DNC talking points anymore?

10. #7 Saw that you were very close on your predictions! Not 100% mind you but still a heck of a lot closer than most of us. That will be considered when reading your perceptive posts. :)

11. Duffman, I don't know about that praise but thanks anyway!

I think I misread New Jersey governor's race in a pretty fundamental way. I don't know how I would have leaned on NY-23 upon the news that Republican had dropped out.

It's really hard to take off your political blinders when in the midst of an election, so anyone's who's passionate about politics is going to have a hard time predicting fairly.

12. Lighten up, John. Just like a typical liberal you can't take a joke or have some fun. Why is that anyway? Why do liberals hate fun? Why do they hate black people and poor people and babies and religion for that matter? The great mysteries of life...

13. @8 katomar on November 4, 2009 12:30 PM,

Yes, exactly like Obama. Oh wait, Obama has won elections, Hutchison, not so much. :-D

Saying that Seattlites would like to outlaw free elections might be a joke, but it is a particularly unfunny one. Maybe irony died with Hutchison's loss.

I love having fun, though! The election night parties last night were a pretty good time for progressives across the region. Couldn't make it to the "I HATE GAYS, REJECT REF 71" party -- anyone know if that was fun?

Posted by John Jensen at November 4, 2009 01:13 PM
15. Your right John. It's totally unfunny. After all, Hitler was democratically elected!

As for the "I HATE GAYS" party, that was being held at entrenched left-wing Democrat and Al Gore supporter Fred Phelps' house in Kansas. Hmm, that makes me thing of another question. Why do liberals hate gays so much?

Posted by MarkGriswold at November 4, 2009 01:20 PM
16. Haha, Hitler is funny. Constantine is like Hitler. Bicycle owners are like Hitler. Voting no on 1033 is like voting for the Nazis. Haha that is funny, Mark. Haha.

Haha Fred Phelps is a left-wing Democrat. Haha. That is funny. "In 1998, Westboro picketed the funeral of Gore's father, screaming vulgarities at Gore and telling him, 'your dad's in Hell.'" Haha. These supporters are so funny!

The funniest joke of this season was the sleazy amount of contorting libertarian-minded conservatives did to justify their vote against Ref. 71. Despite all their internal doubt, the final conclusion is it's okay to cast a vote in support of bigotry if all the other Republicans are doing it. Haha, isn't that a funny joke? Throwing away your principles because your party tells you to. Haha. So funny!

17. Whatever you gotta tell yourself, John. I know you suffer from an illness and I'll continue to pray for you that you get better (because, hey, when you get better you become part of the solution instead of part of the problem!). Just remember though: the first step is admitting you have a problem.

19. Couldn't make it to the "I HATE GAYS, REJECT REF 71" party -- anyone know if that was fun?

What an ignorant statement to make, John. I voted to reject 71 because I don't think the government should be in the business of marriages, unions, co-freakin' habitations, etc. So quit throwing around labels you can't make stick with facts.

Also, if you want to really see some of your fellow liberals humor, go over to Goldy's waste treatment facility and check out Darryl's (a lazy and unprepared UW professor) video announcing last nights "drinking liberally" event. Kind of puts it into perspective what goes on the left in contrast to the right. The left has chosen to mainstream hate as part of its "progressive" agenda.

20. #15: I would also add 'why are democrats so anti-semitic?" as well. The Israel-hating in that party is scary. Obama is part of that group; and the liberal church he attended exhibited similar traits.

Laughable. When an initiative comes up to "get government out of the marriage business", then we'll talk.

The left has chosen to mainstream hate as part of its "progressive" agenda.

Please. The hate here far outweighs anything there.

23. I deleted mikeg's hate speech. All you homophobic, hate speech spewing lefties knock it off. If you don't agree with their lifestyle that's fine but they are still human beings and spewing hate is not helpful. Plus, for people that claim to be the party of tolerance you sure don't exhibit it. I'm not surprised though. You hate everyone else. Why not through gays on that list as well.
